WHITE BREAD 
1 pkg. yeast
1/2 c. warm water
1 3/4 c. scalded milk
2 tbsp. honey
2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. cooking oil
5 to 6 c. flour

May use 2 packages yeast for faster rise.

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Combine milk, honey, salt and oil. Cool to lukewarm; stir in yeast. Mix well. Add flour, gradually. Knead. Cover and let rise until doubled in bulk. Pound dough down, let rise again. Shape into 2 loaves; place in greased loaf pans. Let rise until doubled in bulk. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
