TRIPLE FRUIT PIE 
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry or mixed fruit gelatin
1/3 c. boiling water
2 c. ice cubes
2 tbsp. brandy
1 tbsp. orange liqueur or frozen orange concentrate
1 (8 oz.) whipped cream
1/2 c. sliced strawberries
1/2 c. sliced peaches
1/2 c. blueberries
1 baked 9 inch pie shell

Dissolve gelatin completely in boiling water. Add ice cubes and stir until gelatin is thickened. Discard remaining ice. Fold brandy and liqueur into whipped topping. Blend whipped mixture into gelatin, stirring until smooth. Fold in 3 fruits. Spoon into pie shell. May be garnished with extra topping and fresh fruit.

PIE CRUST HINT: When making pie crust, instead of all that "cutting in of shortening, " use your potato masher. Add 1/2 shortening, mash to fine crumbs, then add rest, mash until larger crumbs. Add water, mash again. I find it almost guarantees a flaky crust.
