1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. sifted flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 bag miniature chocolate peanut butter cups

Cream butter, peanut butter and both kinds of sugar together. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Sift flour, baking soda and salt. Blend into creamed mixture to make a dough. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Place into foil lined midget cupcake papers and place on cookie sheet. (If you can't get foil lined midgets, use paper midgets and cook in muffin tins.) Bake 8 to 10 minutes until lightly browned.

While cookies are baking, remove paper from peanut butter cups. Immediately after removing cookies from oven, press peanut butter cups into each cookie until only the top of peanut butter cup shows. Remove from pan. Makes about 40.
