2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
4 eggs
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. orange juice
3 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder

Mix all of the above in one bowl. In another dish mix 5 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon.

Grease tube pan. Slice 6 apples. Put 1/3 batter into tube pan, add some apples and sprinkle with sugar-cinnamon mixture. Repeat with another 1/3 batter and then last of batter, ending with apples, cinnamon and sugar mixture.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake 1 hour and 20 minutes.
