PARMESAN STEAMED ONIONS 
1/4 c. butter
5 med. onions, peeled, sliced 1/4" thick
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. monosodium glutamate, optional
1/4 tsp. sugar
1/4 c. white wine vinegar or dry sherry
1 tbsp. Kraft grated Parmesan cheese

1. Place butter into wok. Set heat control to medium-low and heat until butter melts, about 2 minutes.

2. Separate onions into rings. Add onions, salt, pepper, monosodium glutamate and sugar; stir. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Stir every 5 minutes.

3. Add wine vinegar and cheese. Increase heat to medium. Stir gently and cook for 3 minutes. Reduce heat to low for serving. Makes 4-6 servings.
