2 c. sugar
1/2 c. melted butter
4 c. flour
1 lb. raisins
1 lb. mixed fruit
Pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. unsweetened applesauce
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. nuts

Adding one teaspoon of soda to each cup of apples. Mix ingredients. Beat well and bake in greased pan in a moderate oven about 1 1/2 hours at 300 degrees.
