SLOPPY JOE MIX 
5 lbs. ground chuck
2 lg. cans peeled tomatoes
1 lg. can tomato sauce
3 tbsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. cumin powder (optional)
1 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. garlic powder
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
3 onions, chopped

In a large skillet cook meat until browned; drain fat and return meat to pan. Process tomatoes in food processor then add to meat. Add remaining ingredients, stir and simmer for 45 minutes. Adjust seasonings and add water if necessary.

Variations: Add a couple of cans of kidney beans and simmer 15 minutes for chili. Serve on hamburger buns for sloppy joes. Use as a spaghetti sauce - top with Parmesan cheese or freshly grated cheddar cheese and chopped onions. Spoon over hot dogs.
