CRUMB CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. milk
1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter
2 eggs

Mix flour, sugar, butter, baking powder together with hands. When mixture turns to crumbs, save 1/2 cup for use later. Add milk and eggs. Stir until smooth. Sprinkle with crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour. I use a glass pan, 9"x13" is just a little too large. Serve with hot fudge sauce. This is a very old recipe.

HOT FUDGE SAUCE:

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. cocoa
1/4 c. butter
1 tbsp. corn syrup

Put all together in a pan and boil for 2 minutes. Always heat before serving to dissolve sugary crust that forms on top. I usually double it for the crumb cake. This is a very rich sauce that's good on ice cream also. Add a little milk if it thickens too much.
