SALLY'S PEPPER SLAW 
4 lb. shredded cabbage
1 lg. red or green pepper
1 c. finely chopped celery
1/2 c. finely chopped onion (or 1/2 tsp. onion salt)
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. strong vinegar
1/2 tsp. celery salt

Just mix (do not cook) the sugar, salts, and vinegar. Pour over cabbage etc. Keeps for days, sealed in the refrigerator.
