PAL'S APPLE DUTCH PIE 
Crusts for bottom and/or top
5 1/2 Grandma's apples

Slice and core apples. Put in bowl with 1 tablespoon lemon juice. Mix well. then add:

1/4 c. white sugar
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. allspice

Add to pie dish covering 1 pie crust. In small bowl mix:

1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. unpacked brown sugar
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. butter (room temperature)
1/4 tsp. clove
1/8 tsp. nutmeg

Take small amounts butter to mix until like crumbly topping. Pour on top of apples. You may cover with top crust or leave just crumb crust. Bake until fork tender at 350 degrees.
