PINEAPPLE CASSEROLE | |
1 large can crushed pineapple (not drained) 5 slices white bread, cubed (no crusts) 1/2 c. sugar 1 stick butter, melted 3 tbsp. flour 3 eggs Beat eggs, sugar and flour until fluffy. Add pineapple and pour into a well-greased casserole (8 x 8-inches). After tossing bread cubes in melted butter, add 3/4 of crumbs to pineapple mixture. Use rest as topping pressed slightly down. May add shredded cheese on top. Bake at 250°F for 50 to 60 minutes. |
