CHERRY-A-CREAM CHEESE PIE 
CRUST:

2 sticks butter
1 c. pecans
2 c. plain flour

Mix butter, flour and pecans (butter should be melted). Put in oblong baking dish; spread on bottom with hands until even. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown. Cool.

FILLING:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar
1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip
1 can cherry pie filling

Mix softened cream cheese, Cool Whip and powdered sugar, and place on cooled crust. Chill for about an hour, then add pie filling on top. Keep refrigerated.
