LEMON SAUCE (for poultry) 
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. lemon juice
4 tsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. grated lemon peel
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. ground ginger
1 drop yellow food color
1 c. water

1. In 1 quart saucepan, mix well first 7 ingredients. Stir in water to blend smoothly.

2. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is slightly thickened. Serve hot.
