TAMALE PIE 
1/2 c. oil
1 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic
1 can tomato sauce
1 can cream corn
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 c. cornmeal
2 beaten eggs
Pinch salt
1/2 c. milk
1 can chopped olives

Combine oil, onion and garlic in pan. Cook 5 minutes. Add tomato sauce, cream corn and chili powder; cook 15 minutes. Add cornmeal, eggs, salt and milk. Continue cooking and stirring 10 more minutes. Add olives. Pour into casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until done. Serves 8 to 10.
