OSGOOD PIE | |
1/4 lb. butter 1 c. sugar 2 eggs, separated 1/2 c. pecans, chopped 1/2 c. raisins 1/2 tsp. allspice 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. vinegar 9" unbaked pie shell Cream butter, sugar and beaten egg yolks. Add pecans, raisins, spices and vinegar. Mix well, then stir in stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into 9" unbaked pie shell. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes, reduce heat to 325 degrees and bake for 30 minutes. |
