DELUXE PECAN PIE 
1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
1 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. dark Karo corn syrup
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. pecans

Beat eggs slightly; mix with next 5 ingredients. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Reset oven temperature to 350 degrees. Continue baking 30-35 minutes. Should be less set-up in center than edges. Serves 6.
