NOODLE KRAUT 
1 tbsp. butter
2 or 3 strips chopped bacon
1 large onion, chopped
Pinch of caraway seed
1 small can sauerkraut, drained, rinsed in cold water
Pinch sugar
2 to 3 c. cooked thin noodles

Saute in butter chopped onion and bacon pieces. Add caraway seed, sauerkraut, sugar and noodles. Heat through. Serve with polish sausage, pork chops or pork roast.

This dish is a hit when I make it... but my recipe is slightly different. Passed on from my husband's polish grandmother. Using only bacon, onion, sauerkraut and small-medium shell noodles. We add some/most of the bacon grease to the final product.
You can keep it warm in a crock pot. It's a great passing dish for parties.
