EASY PICKLED GREEN PEPPERS | |
3 green or white bell peppers, cleaned, seeded and sliced thin 1 small onion, sliced thin 1 tbsp. salt 1 bay leaf 1 tsp. sugar 3 cups water 1 cup vinegar Place pepper and onion slices in a sterile quart jar. Bring to a boil: salt, bay leaf, sugar, water and vinegar. Pour the hot liquid over the pepper and onion slices. Seal jar, cool and store in refrigerator. Will be ready to eat in two weeks.
