BUTTERCREAM FROSTING | |
1 c. Crisco shortening 1 egg white 1 lb. box powdered sugar 1 c. butter 2 tsp. vanilla Cream shortening and butter together on high speed of mixer for 10 minutes. Add egg white and continue to beat 5 minutes. Slowly add powdered sugar, beating at low speed until well mixed. Beat at high speed for 5 minutes. Add vanilla. If using frosting for wedding cake, use white butter and white vanilla. Frosts one 8 inch layer cake. |
