ALPINE CHICKEN CASSEROLE 
4 c. diced cooked chicken
2 c. diced celery
2 c. toasted bread cubes
1 c. Miracle Whip
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1 (8 oz.) pkg. Swiss cheese, cut in thin strips
1/4 c. slivered almonds

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients except nuts. Pour into 2 quart casserole, sprinkle with nuts. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes. (If frozen - partially thaw, bake COVERED at 350 degrees for 50 minutes; REMOVE COVER and continue baking 10 more minutes.)
