NO KNEAD YEAST BREAD | |
2 pkgs. dry yeast 3 c. lukewarm water 3 tbsp. sugar 1 well beaten egg 8 c. flour 2 tbsp. oil 1 tbsp. salt Mix first 4 ingredients together well. Let set for 2 minutes. Add last 3 ingredients and mix well. Let raise, until dough doubles, or about 1 hour. Oil hands and press down dough. Divide and put in well greased pans. Let raise until dough doubles. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Butter tops when removed from oven. Makes four 1 pound loaves. |
