3 c. sliced apples
2 c. soft bread crumbs
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. melted butter
2/3 c. water

Mix all ingredients together. Pour into buttered 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Cover and bake 30 minutes at 300 degrees. Uncover and bake 20 minutes to brown top. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
