MINCEMEAT COOKIES 
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped nuts
2 tbsp. evaporated milk
2/3 c. butter, softened
2/3 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 c. mincemeat

Mix ingredients by hand. Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. While warm, spread on following glaze:

3 c. confectioners' sugar
Dash of salt
2 tsp. vanilla
4 tbsp. melted butter
4 tbsp. evaporated milk

Makes 3 dozen cookies.
