1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. shortening
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sour milk

Cream shortening and sugar. add beaten eggs and vanilla and beat until light and creamy. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add baking soda to sour milk. Add flour mixture alternately with sour milk mixture to first mixture.

Drop by tablespoons on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees until lightly golden. Cool and frost the bottoms, 1/2 white frosting and 1/2 chocolate frosting.
