FROSTED CRANBERRY SQUARES 
1 (13 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. lemon Jello
1 (7 oz.) ginger ale
1 lb. can jellied cranberry sauce
1 (2 oz.) pkg. Dream Whip
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened

Drain pineapple. Reserve the syrup and place in saucepan and heat to boiling; dissolve Jello in the syrup mixture and then let cool. Gently stir in ginger ale; chill until partially. Blend drained pineapple and cranberry sauce with a mixer. Turn into a 9x2x2 dish or pan. Chill until firm.

Prepare dessert topping mix according to package directions. Fold in cream cheese with mixer. Spread over gelatin mixture. Let stand at least 1 hour.
