NUTMEG BREAD 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. white sugar
1 egg
1 c. sour milk
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3 tsp. nutmeg

Cream butter; add sugar, then egg. Add flour, mixed with spices, alternately with sour milk. Bake in greased loaf pan at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes. Serve with cream cheese.
