MEAT PIE 
1 lb. ground pork
2 lbs. ground beef
1 lg. onion, chopped fine
2 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Pepper to taste
1 1/2 tsp. cloves
1 1/2 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. sage
3 tsp. salt
2 recipes 2 crust pie pastry
4 1/2 c. water

Place meat in large kettle. Add water. Cook until meat loses red color. Add onion, cinnamon, cloves, allspice, sage, salt and pepper. Cook until done. Place pastry in 2 pie pans. Add meat mixture. Place pastry on top. Press crust together. Bake at 450 degrees until lightly browned. May be reheated. Yield: 12 servings.
