ORIGINAL GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE 
2 cans cut green beans, drained
3/4 c. milk
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1 (2.8 oz.) can Durkee French fried onions

Combine beans, milk, soup, pepper, and 1/2 can onions; pour into 1 1/2 quart casserole. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Top with remaining onions and bake 5 minutes longer. Makes 6 servings.
