APPLE CRISP 
6-8 apples (of your choice), cored, peeled, sliced
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. softened butter
1/3 c. walnuts, chopped

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix apples with sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice. Lay apples in buttered 8-inch pan to depth of 1/2 inch. Mix flour, brown sugar, butter and put over the apples. This mixture will be crumbly. Top with walnuts. Bake 30 minutes.
