BAKED FRENCH TOAST 
Melt 1/4 pound butter in a 9 x 13 inch pan. Add 1 cup brown sugar and 1 tablespoon cinnamon. Mix well. Cover with 2 layers of bread slices. Beat 6 eggs with 1 1/2 cups milk and dash of salt. Pour over bread and cover. Refrigerate overnight. Uncover and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Slice and turn upside down on plates. Serve with syrup.
