CHINESE PEPPER STEAK 
1 lb. top round steak
2 green peppers
1 c. diced celery
2 to 3 tbsp. diced onions
1 diced clove garlic
1 can beef consomme
2 tbsp. soy sauce
4 tbsp. cornstarch
4 tbsp. water

Brown steak strips in 2 tablespoons hot oil. Quickly add vegetables and consomme, cover and simmer about 10 minutes. Add soy sauce. Combine the water and cornstarch and add it to thicken the liquid, simmer until thickened. Serve over hot rice.
