CHERRY NUT POUND CAKE 
1 lb. soft butter
6 eggs
3 c. flour
1 c. whole walnuts
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 jar cherries

Cream butter, add sugar and eggs one at a time. Add vanilla. Then add flour 1 cup at a time. Fold in cherries and nuts. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes in a bundt pan. Cool in pan 15 minutes.

GLAZE:

1 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1 to 3 tbsp. hot water2 tsp. vanilla or cherry juice
