LEMON POUND CAKE 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
1 level tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla flavor
1/2 tsp. lemon extract flavor

Cream butter, Crisco and sugar in mixer until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and beat well. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Add flavoring. Bake in tube pan that has been greased and floured for one hour and 15 minutes at 350 degrees. When done, set out of stove for 15 minutes. Then turn out of pan and set upright.
