food coloring of your choice

You can color your eggs as you hard-boil* them. Add 15 to 20 drops food coloring plus 1 tablespoon vinegar, using an enamel pan is best. Repeat procedure with other colors. Use color straight from bottle.

Note: Start your egg timer when the water starts boiling. Boil eggs from 7 to 10 minutes depending on size.

COLOR BLENDS:

Purple: 15 drops red and 5 drops blue.
Chartreuse: 12 drops yellow and 1 drop green.
Turquoise: 15 drops blue and 5 drops green.
Orange: 12 drops yellow and 6 drops red.
Teal: 12 drops green and 6 drops blue.
