SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE 
2 sticks butter
3 c. cake flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
6 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. sugar
1 c. sour cream
Pinch salt
6 egg whites

Cream sugar and butter. Add egg yolks one at a time. Dissolve soda in cream. Add alternately with flour to the creamed butter. Add vanilla and fold in egg whites (beaten until formed stiff peaks).

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Grease angel food cake pan and pour cake batter into it. Bake 2 hours.

This recipe makes for 1 pan so put remainder in 2 greased loaf pans and bake 1 hour.
