CHICKEN AND NOODLES 
1 chicken
2 stalks celery
1/2 lg. onion
1 tsp. parsley flakes
1 tsp. garlic powder
Salt and pepper to your liking

Fill pan with water, cook chicken with all ingredients until done. Remove chicken and debone. Use homemade egg noodles or prepackaged. Cook noodles in broth.

HOMEMADE EGG NOODLES:

2 c. flour
3 egg yolks
1 egg
2 tsp. salt
1/4 to 1/2 c. water

Measure flour into bowl. Add egg yolks, whole egg and salt. With hands mix eggs and flour. Add water 1 tablespoon at a time. Add only enough water to form dough into a ball. Knead dough on well floured board until smooth and elastic about 10 minutes, let set 10 minutes. Divide dough into 4 parts. Roll 1 part at a time paper thin. Cut into narrow strips to form noodles. Place on towel to dry, about 2 hours. After noodles have dried, break into smaller pieces. Cook in 3 quarts boiling water with 1 tablespoon salt, 12 to 15 minutes and drain.
