ICE BOX FRESH PEACH PIE 
4 med. peaches, peeled and sliced
1 c. sugar
1 c. water
2 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
3 tbsp. peach Jello
Deep dish pie crust

Bake the pie shell. Arrange peaches in crust. Mix sugar, water, and cornstarch together and cook until thick. Add Jello and stir well. Cool. Pour over peaches. Refrigerate. Serve with whipped topping.

Does anyone know how old this Ice Box Peach Pie recipe is? I am 60 and my mom used to make it all the time. I think the recipe is older than I am but I don't know for sure how long the recipe has been in my family.
