CORNBREAD 
1 1/2 c. cornmeal
1/2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. milk
1/4 c. molasses (robust)
1/4 c. oil
1 egg, beaten

Mix first five dry ingredients well. Add liquids and egg and stir until just mixed. Pour into standard loaf pan and bake at 425 degrees for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

Use maple, blueberry or strawberry syrups, too!
