MOLASSES BAKED BEANS 
2 (21 oz.) cans pork & beans
1 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 c. catsup
1/3 c. molasses
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. prepared mustard
2 tsp. chili powder
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
3 slices bacon, cooked & crumbled

Combine pork and beans, onion, green pepper, catsup, molasses, brown sugar, mustard, chili powder and garlic powder; stir well. Spoon into a lightly greased shallow 2 quart casserole. Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 55 minutes. Sprinkle top with bacon; bake an additional 5 minutes. Yield: 8 servings.
