ICE BOX ROLLS 
1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. lard
1/2 c. boiling water
1/2 c. cold water
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg beaten
2 cake yeast, dissolved in 1/4 c. lukewarm warm water
4 c. flour

Pour boiling water over lard and sugar. Add cold water, salt, egg and yeast. Then stir in flour well. Put in ice box overnight. Remove to greased tins and make in any shape you prefer. Let set for 2 hours to raise and bake 25 minutes in a hot oven.
