4 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. nutmeg
6 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
4 tbsp. oil

Beat together eggs and sugar. Mix other ingredients together with eggs and sugar. If the eggs are small, all the flour might not be needed. Put batter in donut press and fry in hot grease, about 385 degrees, until brown. Flip over and brown on other side.
