STRAWBERRY AMBROSIA | |
1 1/3 c. vanilla wafer crumbs (30) 2/3 c. butter 1 1/3 c. confectioners sugar 4 eggs 2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen strawberries, thawed and drained 1 c. whipping cream Sprinkle 1/2 of crumbs over bottom of 8-inch square pan. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Spread this mixture over crumbs. Add defrosted strawberries (or other berries). Whip cream until stiff and spread over berries. Sprinkle with remaining crumbs. Cover with Saran and chill at least 6 hours or overnight. |
