COMPANY CHEESECAKE | |
1 1/4 c. graham cracker crumbs (Honey cinnamon is good) 2 tbsp. sugar 3 tbsp. melted butter 2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese plus 2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 1 c. sugar 2 tsp. grated lemon peel (optional) 1/4 tsp. vanilla 3 eggs Heat oven to 350 degrees. Stir cracker crumbs and 2 tablespoons sugar. Mix in butter. Press into bottom of 9-inch pan. Bake 7-10 minutes. Cool. Reduce oven to 300 degrees. Beat cream cheese in large bowl. Gradually add 1 cup sugar, beating until fluffy. Add peel and vanilla. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Pour into crumb shell. Bake 1 hour or until center is firm. Chill at least 3 hours. Sliced almonds on top is GOOD. |
