CHERRY CRUMB DESSERT 
3/4 c. butter
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. quick cooking oatmeal
3/4 c. chopped pecans
1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. flaked coconut
2 cans cherry pie filling

Cream together butter, brown sugar and vanilla. Sift together flour, salt and baking soda. Add to creamed mixture and stir in coconut and pecans. Spread half of crumb mixture over greased 13x9 pan and pack down.

Spoon 2 cans of pie filling over crumbs. Dot top with remaining crumb mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-35 minutes. Serve warm with whip cream or ice cream.
