1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 eggs, beaten
2 c. raisins
2 c. boiling water
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. allspice
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. nuts

Put butter, sugar, eggs, raisins, boiling water, soda, cinnamon, cloves and allspice into saucepan. Mix thoroughly and let come to a boil. When cool, add flour, baking powder and nuts. Pour into 9"x13" pan and bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes. Frost with cream cheese frosting.
