IRISH SODA BREAD 
3 c. flour
2/3 c. sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. currants
1/4 c. sour cream
2 eggs, beaten
2 tbsp. melted butter
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
Whiskey to flavor (2 tbsp.)

Combine all dry ingredients and currants. Combine other ingredients. Blend together and bake in greased loaf pan at 350 degrees for one hour or more.
