BAR-B-QUED TURKEY WINGS | |
3 or 4 turkey wings (legs may be used) 1 c. flour with salt and pepper 1 tbsp. oil 1/4 c. chopped onion 1 c. water 1/4 c. catsup 1/4 c. vinegar 1/4 c. honey or brown sugar 1/2 tsp. cinnamon Pinch of cloves Coat turkey with seasoned flour and brown in hot oil. Remove wings from pan and saute onions until glossy, add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil for 2 minutes. Return wings to sauce, cover and simmer for 2 hours or until tender. Remove bones and reheat. Serve with rice or noodles. May be refrigerated or frozen and reheated. |
