APPLE CRUMB PIE 
5-7 tart apples (5 c.)
9 inch unbaked pie shell
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/3 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour
6 tbsp. butter

Pare apples; core and slice. Arrange apple slices in pie shell. Mix 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over apples. Mix 1/3 cup sugar with flour; cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 400 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
