SEA FOAM CANDY 
3 c. sugar
3 egg whites (stiffly beaten)
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. syrup (light)
1 c. nuts (cut up)

Mix sugar, water and syrup. Cook until it forms a hard crackling ball in a cup of cold water. Then pour slowly into stiffly beaten egg whites using electric mixer, mix thoroughly. When it begins to get hard stop electric mixer, proceeding with a spoon, mixing in cut up nuts. Spoon out of bowl putting on wax paper. Yields 25-35 pieces.

Note: Be sure to cook enough or it will not get hard. Use glass or metal bowl.
