CHOW CHOW 
5 lb. green tomatoes
5 lb. cabbage
5 lb. onions
4 lb. green peppers
1 1/4 lb. hot peppers
1 qt. vinegar
1 qt. water
A little sugar and salt

Put tomatoes, cabbage, onions and peppers through food grinder. Mix vinegar and water and bring to a rolling boil. Add chopped vegetables and cook about 15 minutes. Lift with slotted spoon into hot sterilized pint jars.
